 The Association of Church Fellowship

 The Association of Church Fellowship (ACF) was started over 40 years ago by the then Bishop of Chester, Bishop Ellison.

Our group began about 10 years later, when the Vicar of Great Budworth and Antrobus was at the time Rev Foster and founder members were Mrs Betty Bradford, Mrs Foster (Vicars wife), Margaret Harper, Mrs Lilian Foster, Mrs Ridgeway and Mrs Cocksey.

The ACF seeks to further Christ’s Kingdom in the world through worship and service, study and fellowship.

ACF is an open organisation which welcomes as members, all who seek to know better the Christian faith, to grow in their understanding of church membership, to play their full part in the life and mission of the church and to share in the fellowship which it offers.

The purpose of the ACF is to provide opportunities to serve God in this church, through five principles;

Fellowship,

Worship,

Service,

Study,

Giving.

Each parish group works out for itself how it will develop these principles.

While the officers should be baptised members of the church, membership is open to all.

We meet regularly at Gt Budworth Parish hall on the 4th Tuesday in the month at 7.45pm, sometimes members of other groups from the area join us and we are very fortunate to have many good speakers attending.

Once a year we meet with our groups from the diocese for a joint service.

We have a comment magazine that is very good and informative and is produced twice a year, Spring and Autumn.
